What I Wore the Last Week and a Half

What I Wore the Last Week and a Half

I’m a little behind on my outfit posts, so I rolled a week and a half into this one. I really like being able to look back at my weekly outfit diary and see which outfits worked and which didn’t. I feel like I’m getting a handle on what works best on my body type for the most part. I read in an article the other day that the most flattering ratio to shoot for is 1/3 torso and 2/3 legs. That puts the focal point at the smallest part of my waist. I think I did pretty well this week. Sometimes I forget to think about proportion though, which is how I end up trying on a million things before settling on something that finally looks flattering.

I really like the idea of creating a few different proportional uniforms that I know always look good on me. I mean, I have some idea, but I haven’t sat down and written them out lately. Let’s see what I’ve learned about dressing myself over the last week and a half.

Uniform ideas:

Peplum top with crop flare jeans, statement jewelry, and chunky heel or flats

Jeans and a t-shirt with kimono or lightweight trench and chunky heels

T-shirt or Blouse, cropped or tucked, with midi skirt and flats

That’s actually not a bad start. I would like to have a couple more, so I’ll do a little research and apply it to this week’s outfits. Stay tuned…
